Ancestral glassmaking technique, blowing allows for obtaining multiple shapes and multiple colors. Color in the mass offers unmatched brilliance and depth. Biobject masters several techniques including that of filigree glass. In the 2000s, Biobject developed numerous accessories, vases, and dishes in blown glass.
Molded glass is a different technique that allows shaping molten glass in greater thicknesses than blown glass. Molds are generally made of wood or metal. The molded glass technique can, among other things, allow the creation of colored trays of a certain thickness with a slightly irregular surface. Bubble formation in the glass is possible.
